The first block of flats rises steadily up, and let's hope the groundwork was well done here, or 'The Leaning Tower of Suvilahti' will become an international tourist attraction.

High water-levels made this bit of landscaping even more attractive, although a little sunshine would have made it into a better photograph.

Liito-oravankatu - and a wooden frame rises up rapidly from its concrete base. This kind of construction really makes me think that 'Yes - I could make one of those!'

People stroll down the new street, giving a feel of how it will be like when it's completed.
