The thumbnail pictures below were taken on June 26th. They feature the first major step in re-routing the road to Suvilahti shops from the ice-skating rink. The old road has already been pulled up and traffic signs moved to their new positions. This is only half the job done, but the other half is well under way. Even if Vaasa is Finland's sunniest town, it does rain sometimes, as you see - just to keep everything nice and green.

The thumbnail pictures below were taken on June 24th, just at the end of the Midsummer break. Judging by the progress, not everyone spent their holiday lazing at the cottage. Several families were busy building at around 6 p.m.

The thumbnail pictures below were taken on June 12th, and show that work continues at a steady pace. Peab Seicon's tower crane is fully installed, and work has progressed on the footings for the flats.

Also, Peab Seicon have begun to install the tower crane which will be used to build their block of flats. Enlargements from now on will be of better resolution as work continues.
